chemical peeling

I'm still recovering from my nasty breakouts few months ago. I still have pimples, but not as many as before and usually it's in papules form. But since last week I experienced clogged pores. I don't know is it from my Missha Perfect Cover BB cream or not. I always cleanse with Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil follow with a facial cleanser. Tired with clogged pores, papules and my acne scars (my face is full with it, that's why I always wear bb cream/ foundation) I decided to try chemical peeling.

After asking at some beauty clinics and from friends who have done it, I decided to go to Miracle @ Thamrin. Already made an appointment with the doctor, then the next day my dad told me that I have to attend a seminar 2days after my appointment, I was like what?!!! Everyone said after chempeel, better to stay home for about 5days, how could I go out on the second day?? So I cancelled my appointment. After reading at fashiondaily about London Beauty Centre, I decided to go there. Price sure is cheaper than Miracle, testimonials from the customers also good. After all I'm not going to use their creams, only want the treatment.

So yesterday I went there, consulted with the doctor. Not sure is it because the consultation is free, the doctor seems in a hurry. I asked for the Superpeel, since I read it's the most effective in getting rid of dead skincells, but the doctor said Superpeel consists a lot of vitamins, thus not appropriate for my skin (btw my acne was quite a lot coz I've been eating everything since last week), she said Beautypeel is more suitable for my skin. Well she have more experience in this area more than me.

Waited about half an hour before called to the treatment room. The room is quite big, divided into small cubicles. The beautician cleaned my face, I know she had difficulties removing my Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner ;p after that she extract my comedones, ckckckck..I think I really have to cut down on the foundie/ bb cream, my face is full with comedones :( after the painfull extraction, she gave my face a massage with the ozone, it was good, cooling sensation :) next come the mask, she said it'll help with the redness. My face was like a crab, so red, arghhh...I did take pics for my own documentation and she was right, the redness reduced after the mask. Had to wait about half an hour for the doctor to do the peeling. When she put the acid on my face, it does stings a little but it was beareable, what I can't stand is the smell. Then she put the neutralizer and the beautician gave me a little massage. And that was it...

I spend 232 thousands rupiah. 150 for the Beautypeel, 10 for ozone, 30 for the mask and 42 for the anti irritation cream.

It's been 24hours and the redness has gone, my face feel tight. But I do develop some new pimples. My face hasn't starts to peel. I do hope my face qould peel a lot, haha...
