I'm sure you would be surprise that I never had a vaseline before. I've read bout it at MUA, beauty forums, and even on DIY hair colouring instructions, but I thought Surabaya doesn't have it. So I was pretty surprise when a friend of mine brought a jar of it to hospital and used it for a lipbalm. Tried it but prefer my Kiehl's lipbalm.
During my vacation at New Orleans (first time going to USA) I visited CVS pharmacy, it's like Watson's or Guardian but much bigger, spent a hour there, looking at every single products at the shelf :p and I found the famous Vaseline, thought the price is cheap for a medium jar and took it along with my other cheap beauty products ;)
Started using it the next day because my lips was really dry and chapping. It did moisturized my lips, only in a few minutes. It also helps soften the dead lip skin so it's easier for me to peel away.
So far I've only using it as a lipbalm, don't really dare to use it as a eye makeup remover or as a moisturizer for my dry patches. Would like to bring it next time I go travelling, but the jar is way too big. Good thing I bought Carmex lipbalm. Heard it's quite famous in US, a long time brand of lipbalm. Haven't try it yet, still have to finish my TBS strawbeRry lipbalm. Will review it later :)
